Jazz Ensemble wins again!
The Imani School Jazz Ensemble does it again!
Our musically-gifted youth consistently perform at a level of excellence some high school music departments aspire to attain. On this occasion, the Jazz Ensemble traveled to Galveston, TX to compete in the annual Music Showcase Festival at Schlitterbahn. Under the direction of Imani instructor Leon Mitchison, our students earned some wonderful accolades including: Outstanding Vila phone, Superior rating and Overall Grand Champion. Sixth grader Arielle Smith earned a 1st Place Trophy for Outstanding Vocalist. Congratulations Jazz Ensemble!
